After 30 years in business it is time for the next generation of data cabling professionals to take over the family business. With guidance and knowledge from Precision FiberOptics the new owners of Precision Data & Fiber are ready to meet the data cabling needs of the Colorado front range.
Meet Our Team
Matt Gage
Owner & Project Manager
Matt joined his father, Steve, working with him at his low-voltage business in 2013 at Precision FiberOptics. Matt worked as Steve’s right hand man on every project and quickly became the lead project manager and technician for Precision FiberOptics. In early 2018, Steve announced his retirement and gave the option of purchasing the business to Matt and Sydney for the start of 2020. Excited, Matt and Sydney accepted his offer and started the transition to becoming Precision Data & Fiber.
Sydney Gage
Owner & Office Administrator
Sydney joined the team in 2018 as a Structured Cabling Technician under Matt and Steve. Originally placed in the administration and sales side of the business, Sydney wanted to start in the field to have a better understanding of the products and services she was to sell. After working full-time in the field under Precision FiberOptics, Sydney moved to the office in 2020 to handle all administrative, financial, and marketing needs for Precision Data & Fiber.
